Can I move my toilet or shower to a different wall?

The plumbing happens in two hits: rough-in (pipes and drainage positioned, before waterproofing and tiling) and fit-off (fixtures installed at the end). Each is typically a day or two for a standard bathroom, scheduled around the other trades.
