Getting a new dishwasher plumbed in properly matters more than most people realise, a poor connection means leaks under the cabinet, or drainage that backs up down the track. We handle the full plumbing side of the install:
- Water supply check: We check your existing water supply is in good working order before connecting.
- Drainage check: We check the drainage for blockages so the new dishwasher isn’t connected to an existing problem.

Checking your water supply and drainage first
We’re not appliance technicians, so we don’t repair a dishwasher itself. What we do handle is the plumbing side: checking your water supply is working properly and checking the drainage for blockages before we connect a new machine. That way, if there’s ever a leak or a backup after installation, you know it isn’t coming from a problem that was already there.

Do you repair dishwashers that have stopped working?
No, we install dishwashers rather than repair them, we're not appliance technicians so we don't work on a dishwasher's electrics or internal mechanics. If your existing dishwasher isn't filling or draining properly, we can check whether the problem is on the plumbing side, a blocked drain line or a faulty water supply, and fix that. If the fault turns out to be in the machine itself, you'll need an appliance repairer for that part.
What's involved in a dishwasher installation?
We check the water supply and drainage are in good working order, fit an isolation valve for the water supply, connect the inlet and drain hoses, and drill into the cabinetry if a new hose run needs to pass through it. Once it's connected we test it to make sure everything's filling, draining and sealed properly.
Do you install washing machines as well?
Yes. We install washing machines the same way we install dishwashers, checking the water supply and drainage, fitting the valve, and connecting the hoses properly.
Do you supply the dishwasher, or do I need to buy my own?
We install the dishwasher you've bought. Bring us your new appliance and we'll take care of connecting it properly to your home's plumbing.
What if there's no existing plumbing where the dishwasher is going?
If the spot doesn't already have water supply or drainage run to it, we can install the extra piping and drainage needed to get the appliance connected properly.
Do you check for water supply or drainage blockages during installation?
Yes. Before we connect a new dishwasher we check the water supply and drainage for blockages or issues, so the new appliance isn't hooked up to a problem that was already there.
