How is a minor renovation different from a full renovation?
A full renovation goes back to the studs, new waterproofing, new tiles, potentially a new layout. A minor renovation works with the existing tiling and waterproofing, updating what sits on top: fixtures, tapware, a vanity, a toilet. It's a smaller job with a smaller price tag and far less time out of the bathroom.
Can you replace just the vanity and toilet without touching the rest?
Yes, that's a common minor renovation. We measure carefully so new fixtures fit the existing plumbing set-out, and the rest of the bathroom stays untouched.
Is a minor renovation a good option if my tiles are still fine?
Often the best option. If the tiling and waterproofing are sound, there's no reason to disturb them just to update fixtures. It's a lower-cost, lower-disruption way to get a bathroom looking current.
How long does a minor renovation take?
Depending on scope, most minor renovations are completed in one to a few days, well short of the weeks a full strip-out renovation can involve, because there's no waterproofing cure time or tiling to schedule around.
What if I start with a minor renovation and decide I want more done later?
