What situations need new gas pipework?

Natural gas and LPG run at different flows and pressures, and pipe diameter has to suit both the fuel type and the appliance's demand. An undersized line starves the appliance and can cause it to burn incorrectly, which is a safety issue, not just a performance one.
Can you extend an existing gas line for a new appliance?
Often, yes, depending on the existing line's capacity and what's being added. We assess the current setup on site and confirm whether it can be extended or needs a dedicated run.
What materials are used for new gas pipework?
